Worship

2 Corinthians 10:3 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
” For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.”

We understand that part of worshipping God is about our personal commitment. Understanding the depth of worship and applying it can lead us to greater heights in our relationship with God. 2 Corinthians 10:3 is a key component in ensuring we worship consistently in our walk with God.

Our ability to effectively discern that we are in the correct battle hinges on our ability to navigate through emotional issues that we are conditioned to react to in our daily walk.

Effective worship is fueled by our faith which should be free of emotional obstacles. Because our emotions are part of who we are making the separation can be difficult.

Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
” For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”

Hebrews 4:12 Equips us to move beyond the habitual process of making emotional choices that can be contrary to our faith. Worship should be from the heart, because we comprehend the depth, height and length God went to reconcile us into him. Worship is integral part of expressing our gratitude.
