Thinking

Phi 4:4-8
Rejoice in the Lord, Do not fret or have any anxiety, in every circumstance and in everything, pray and petition, with thanksgiving, make your wants known to God. And God’s peace shall be yours, through Christ, fearing nothing. In God and be content in whatever you face. Know peace which transcends all understanding, it shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

Thinking
Is part of the way we process and progress in spiritual matters. The cognitive process can facilitate and challenge us to make decisions that are spiritual or through our natural senses challenging Philippians 4:4-8.

Succeed in the natural (carnal) world requires us ensure we think in line with Christ and see ourselves according to Ephesians 2:6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Think Habitually
Habit is a process of which we have ceased to be conscious of our efforts. as we think along a certain line we do things without thinking. Habit becomes second nature. For instance, when you begin to use a muscle in a particular way, it hurts badly, but if you keep on using that muscle judiciously it will get beyond hurting until you are able to use it with mechanical precision. The same is true in thinking.

Think Habitually to Do
Our Lord says, in effect, that if any man will habitually think, he will come to know where His teaching comes from. The only way to prove spiritual truth is by doing

We must willing set our mind determinedly to seek out habitually the will of God for us. We talk about justice and right and wrong, are we prepared to act according to what we think? Are we prepared to act according to the justice and the right which we believe to be the character of God? If we are, we shall have no difficulty in deciding whether or not the teaching of Jesus Christ comes from God

thinking alters our life. The moment we have discerned the truth, we can never be the same again; we can ignore it, or forget it, But, Truth once discerned goes into the subconscious mind, truth reveals itself at the most awkward time when we least expect it.

Right Thinking
Apply your mind to my knowledge (Prov. 22:17); set your mind on things above (Col. 3:2); when I was a child, I thought as a child (1 Cor. 13:11); I will pray with my spirit and also with my mind (1 Cor. 14:15); in thinking be mature (1 Cor. 14:20); renewed in the spirit of your minds (Eph. 4:23); let this mind be among you which was also in Christ Jesus (Phil. 2:5); let those who are mature think like this (Phil. 3:15); think over what I say (2 Tim. 2:7); since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same thought (1 Pet. 4:1).
