Hebrews 11:1-3 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
For by [faith trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.
By faith, we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made of things, which are visible.
After reading these three scriptures how does your faith measure up when it comes to tangible manifestation of what you have believed God for? Can you count the victories manifested by faith? Are you at present standing to see the evidence that you hope for? Is your faith in the now? Is it mired in the muck of doubt, defeat and discouragement? Do you trust God for your future?
Our faith Now! Is our personal responsibility! We must purposefully cultivate our faith according to Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. When we cultivate our faith, we can liken ourselves to a world-class athlete who trains with the purpose of winning the top prize. You’ve never heard a champion say I just wanted to be in the event to compete. We have been ordained to win! Our faith should be just that! Conditioned to win! The bible is our key to facilitating victory of the will of God in our life. The previous questions are your tools of measurement. God’s grace accompanies our faith, it is his unmerited favor, which means that God honors your faith because it is designed to manifest his divine purpose for your life.
