Responding to God

[So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents]1 John 1:6[AMP].

John speaks in terms of responding to God in way that speaks of us having a solid relationship with him(God).  We have always been lead to believe that God is mysterious and his ways are beyond understanding.  Yet the simplicity of knowing God and responding to God only requires faith.  Words such seek you will find, knock and the door will open.  Transcends the carnal logic of the natural mind.  Then there is ask and it shall be given.  God responds when we ask according to his will.  The fallacy in our human logic is that we want to use God in the context of our understanding.

God wants us to rise above the limited logic of our thought process and elevate our thinking through his written word. 1 John 1: 6 So if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are waking about in darkness, we are speaking falsely and do not live and practice the truth.

Responding to God requires obedience to his word.  Partake in Hebrew means inheritance, heritage.  In God he gives us what we need to succeed in him.  Responding to him is our commitment to allow his glory to shine through us.
