Choice

Luke 4:5 Then the devil took him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye] [AMP]

The Mountains of Alaska provide a stunning view of peace and power, as we behold the beauty and vastness of their being. When conversing with the experienced outdoors man they will share with you their personal experience that will provide valuable insight to perils that are present if you don’t understand how to prepare. As men of God, we spend time with God to prepare our hearts and minds to make good choices.

Jesus when presented with a choice Luke 4:5. Chose the path of God. Proverbs 3:5-6 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and he will direct and make straight and plain your paths. [AMP]

As we reconcile our actions with the word of God we will find that our choices have not always been derived from belief and trust in God. There are many that contribute to our ability to choose. Proverbs 16:3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to become agreeable to His will, and ] so shall your plans be established and succeed. [AMP]

Great men of God be cognizant that our thought process is often conditioned by logical thinking, which can be out of routine more than we are aware.  Proverbs 16:9 A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure. [AMP]

To experience the mountains we spoke of earlier requires actions that will lead to success. The effectiveness of God ‘s will is forever contingent on the choices we make. For us to overcome the perils of choice, will require our commitment to seek first Gods Kingdom and all his righteousness.
